The dialogue “Annhi dea mazaak ae” from the eponymous movie has created quite a buzz in the Punjabi film industry and on social media, say the makers of the movie. The movie features Ammy Virk and Nasir Chinyoti along with Iftikhar Thakur. “The two Pakistani actors are already famous for their perfect comic timing, and our Punjabi boy Ammy Virk adds to the fun, making a perfect trio,” says the team.
Rakesh Dhawan, director of the film, says, “People prefer me to write comedy like ‘Honsla Rakh’ but for my directorial debut, I chose a sensitive subject like in ‘Aaja Mexico Challiye’, and those with social messages. But the audiences seem to prefer me in the comic genre, hence after a gap of over a year, I am back with a comedy film.
The movie has made it to the cinemas today, i.e. on April 21, 2023.
Ammy adds, “I am excited that our movie is finally out for the audience. We have genuinely worked hard on this concept and packed it with many punches. Can’t wait to see the response of the audience when they watch the film on the big screen.”
Ammy Virk and Pari Pandher are in the lead roles. The rest of the cast includes Nirmal Rishi, Hardeep Gill, Amar Noorie, Deedar Gill, and Gurdeep Gill.
